We are a dynamic remote staffing agency, dedicated to providing top-notch virtual assistants to businesses worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write up detailed scopes of work and quotes in our job management software.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and specifications.
- Understand and evaluate project logistics and project risks.
- Coordinate with various trades over the phone to discuss pricing and utilize historical data for pricing.
- Prepare comprehensive quotes and proposals based on estimated costs, project scope, and client requirements.
- Review preliminary and architectural plans thoroughly.
- Conduct regular risk assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have work experience with Australian companies.
- Proven experience as a Cost Engineer, with a focus on civil services in Australia.
- Strong ability to read and interpret plans and drawings.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with the Australian construction industry’s standards and regulations.
- Able to work Melbourne hours Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM.
- The ability to read and understand construction methods relevant to Australia would be advantageous.
- Have ample background in construction project management, reviewing construction documents, preparing takeoffs.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadline.
- Pays attention to Details.
